Mississippi Disaster Relief - Durant, MS (May 10 - 12, 2017)

A member of St. John's Parish joined Luke Boiarski, SCN, in a disaster response effort in Durant, MS. A tornado had swept through this town, causing considerable damage. The SCN Disaster Response Team consisted of nine members, who helped four families get back into their homes. They cut up fallen trees, cleaned up yards on Jackson and LaMar Streets in Durant, and provided various assistance at the destruction sites. This endeavor was in honor of Paula Merrill, SCN, who served in this area for many years and was murdered in August 2016.
