The Parish Financial Council is comprised of volunteer lay persons dedicated to advising the Pastor in matters related to parish finances. Members include the Pastor and several practicing parishioners who are knowledgeable and skilled in financial matters, exercise prudent judgment,
and are dedicated to the Catholic faith. While adhering to Archdiocese policies, the Parish Financial Council provides annual budget recommendations, monitors expenses and cash flow, assesses accounting practices and procedures, and offers general financial guidance to the Pastor. The relationship between the Pastor and the Council is one of support and collaboration. Members are appointed by the Pastor.
The Parish Financial Council meets every other month or more often as deemed necessary by the Pastor or Council Chairman.
